The experimental animated short The Tale of Trần Thanh Dương takes place in a binary world where men are fish, and women are shrimp. Drawing inspiration from Vietnamese folklore and traditional opera, this cross-temporal film tells a story about the birth of a being that is not fish nor shrimp: Trần Thanh Dương.
