The lion proves to be friendly and asks Gumby and Pokey to show him how to go abo’ut seeing the world. Meanwhile, the zookeeper sets a lion trap to recapture the lion but instead succeeds in capturing Gumbys father. Richard the lion sets out to see the world in a fast sports car, taking Gumby and Pokey with him. A wild and frightening ride through the streets of the city gets even scarier when they become airborne. Richard wisely decides that life outside the zoo is too much for him.
